Miniature Phone Bug Key Features

If you have installed either a phone socket or AC outlet you can install the Miniature Phone Bug. It's that simple.
The Miniature Phone Bug is typically installed inside a phone socket. (it is possible to install this device anywhere along the phone line).
A basic knowledge of uncovering and replacing a phone socket is required to install this device.
When connected to the phone line the user can make calls (outgoing) and receive calls (incoming) from any phone device connected to the same line. with full function exactly in the same manner as if the Miniature Phone Bug is not installed.
In addition when the phone line is in use, uniquely designed electronic circuitry samples the voice signal of all parties on the phone line, filters all background or parasitic harmonic noises, voice synthesizer improves the sound quality and only then the device transforms the signal to a precise ultra high frequency and transmit it to a remote dedicated receiver.

The receiver part of the system is a modified radio scanner designed to most efficiently receive the transmitted signal from the SpyPhone. resulting with extended receiving range and superior sound quality.
Using the radio scanner (receiver) you can monitor / listen to the phone conversation from a distance in a "life" manner while the phone call is in progress.
Using the radio scanner plus the digital recorder (cassette recorder also available), you can monitor or record and monitor the phone conversation for future analyzes or documentation.
There are five methods to listen to the conversation. The quality of the sound may vary depending on the chosen method.
The last method will provide the highest quality in terms of sound and clarity.
In addition you can use the included software to edit, add textual comments, "stitch" together two related or unrelated recorded messages, sort, search, attach as an audio file to an email, burn on a cd, transform to .WAV or MP3 audio formats and much more.

You can use your Digital or Cassette Recorder or purchase one through this site to automatically or manually record the received transmitted signal from the radio scanner.

Also available video tutorials covering all aspects of using the digital voice recorder, downloading editing deleting and modifying files using the included voice editor software, WAV to MP3 file format transfer, burn recorded messages on a CD and more.
File Transform Formats
The digital recorder uses a format called .FVT which is more then 12 times smaller in size then .WAV format, without reducing the quality of the recorded messages.
This will enable you hours of continues (or combined in auto mode) recording time without the need to replace cassettes or presence at the recording site.
The included software can transform .FVT files to .WAV files which are regular audio format used by most music CD's. You can transform .WAV files to MP3 using one of a long list of free programs available online.
Modified Radio Scanner
The radio scanners sold on this site are modified versions of those found on the market today. the modification purposes are to improve range, quality and clarity of the received signal.
the radio scanners offered on this site are chosen and tuned for best performance in correlation with the phone transmitters.
Although you can use any scanner with the following radio scanner features it is not guaranteed to perform in the same sound quality range or any other indicated performance of radio scanners sold through this site.
Please note: we can not provide any tech support regarding the programming, installing, resetting, downloading recorded media to your PC or any other usage of items not purchased through this site.
Required Scanner Features
Digital / Cassette Recorders
To record the received voice signal you have to connect the Radio Scanner to a Digital or Cassette recorder - also available on this site.
In order to record automatically the recorder must have:
- voice activated feature sometimes called AOR, VOR, VOX or VAR.
- External microphone (MIC) jack.
- accessories to connect the recorder (Digital or Cassette) to the Radio Scanner.
Phone Line Extensions
All the extensions (phone jacks) of the line are covered.
you can use any extension not only the one which the device is connected to - for full function.
Miniature Phone Bug Tabs
Although not all the features of the new phone transmitter are available with the old ones, you can use the new Modified Radio Scanner to receive the signal of all versions of our phone transmitters.

Effective Range
The range (distance) from the transmitter to the receiver (radio scanner) was measured in an open area with no barrier between the two.
The following conditions could affect the effective range:
- Cement and metal made walls.
- Electronic devices operating around the 2.4 GHz band wide.
- Close proximity to high powered electrical machinery.
